Great park but let down by staff/management

I feel really bad giving Siam park 3 stars as the waterpark itself is amazing.
Whilst on our visit 21st May, we were approached by staff on the wave pool beach to put our umbrellas down due to wind. We have a 2 year old and there was absolutely no wind what so ever and it was such a clear sunny day. My 2 year old was asleep and the umbrella was keeping him in the shade. After many angry workers coming to tell us to put the umbrella down, (other families with kids were arguing the same) we were told we could go sit in the trees at the back in shade. Whilst being told we needed to put our umbrellas down, the bar umbrellas behind us were allowed to stay up and so were the life guards.
After about 2/3 hours of back and forth between many families with young children the management rung for security. After security turning up the staff members then came back round telling people they could put their umbrellas back up.
I’d totally understand the safety of umbrellas if it was windy but there was no wind at all. Many families left during this time as there were families with children as young as 6 months old being told they couldn’t have their umbrellas up.
Whilst the park itself is amazing our afternoon was ruined with arguements back and forth with the staff and a lady in pink who I’m guessing was management. There was no apologies after and clearly no wind.

Regarding the situation you experienced with the closing of the beach umbrellas, we would like to inform you that this measure is only taken on very specific occasions and strictly for safety reasons, in order to prevent any of our visitors from being accidentally injured by an umbrella due to sudden gusts of wind. The umbrellas located on the beach are not fixed to the furniture, unlike the umbrellas used at the bars and by our lifeguards, which are securely attached. However, in cases of strong winds, these umbrellas may also be closed as an additional safety precaution.
We are pleased to know that our team members showed concern regarding the situation and were attentive throughout your visit. The ladies in pink uniforms you mentioned are part of our Public Relations team, whose role is to explain to beach users that the umbrellas are temporarily closed precisely because of possible sudden wind gusts. Of course, as soon as the wind subsides and the safety of our guests is guaranteed, our beach boys immediately proceed to reopen them.
In any case, we sincerely regret that this inconvenience occurred during your visit. As mentioned, the option of sitting under the trees and enjoying the wonderful vegetation of Siam Park is also available as an alternative to the umbrellas, should guests prefer it.

A great day out. It is a must when coming to Tenerife. Get there early and you definitely need a fast track pass to get on the slides. Also the beach shoes as the floor is hot when walking around.

This had to be one of the worst experiences of my life. Everything was just rundown unclean untidy they make you sign a waiver to state that if it rains they’re gonna close down the park and you receive no refund. They haven’t kept up with the maintenance. there’s l algae literally in the pool. Definitely not worth the money would never go there again and I’m not the only one who’s repeating this even their world Guinness record sign it’s broken and they literally have been talking about how good the waves are but the waves small when I asked him about it they literally told me that all this is normal. It was terrible just an absolute terrible experience. A waste of money and time I will never get back.

We visited Siam Park during our holiday in Tenerife, and it was honestly one of the best days of the entire trip.
The park itself is absolutely stunning, with a unique Thai theme that makes it feel more like an experience than just a water park. It’s beautifully maintained, very clean, and everything is laid out really well, so it’s easy to get around and make the most of your day.
The rides are the real highlight and genuinely on another level compared to most water parks. There’s something for everyone—from relaxing areas like the lazy river, go left for the not so lazy river and wave pool to adrenaline rides like the Tower of Power, which is an absolute must if you’re brave enough! The wave pool is also incredible, with some of the biggest artificial waves you’ll ever see.
We spent the whole day there and still felt like we could have stayed longer. The park is perfect for both thrill-seekers and families, and there’s a great mix of attractions to suit all ages.
There were plenty of sunbeds available, and lots of places to grab food and drinks, which made it easy to relax in between rides. The whole place feels very well run, with lots of lifeguards around and a strong focus on safety.
The only downside is that it can get quite busy, especially later in the day, which means queues for the bigger rides can be long. (Fast pass ticket available for €38, highly recommended) If you can, it’s definitely worth arriving early to beat the crowds and make the most of your time.
Overall, Siam Park completely lives up to the hype and is easily one of the best attractions in Tenerife—if not the best. We would 100% go back again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

Spent the day here… get here for 10am if you want a sunbed or a locker !! Queues are long .. my advise is book online before you come .. fast passes are handy for the slides.. we booked a cabana bed based round at Coco wave beach pool .. best decision ever .. it was €75 and well worth it. I’m a sunbather and not a swimmer so this was perfect for us.. I minded the bags, sunbathed on the bed, swung in our personal hammock and generally chilled out.
Toilets right beside us, towels and sheets provided on the bed.. food available on site although we did bring our own drinks etc

Fuimos el lunes 27 y no hicimos nada de cola que era algo que nos preocupaba, hasta pudimos repetir atracciones.
Comer allí no es tan caro como creí. Una hamburguesa con papas al rededor de 11€. Lo único caro la bebida, 3€ la lata.

Had such high expectations of this place, been to several water parks including all in Orlando, but having this win best waterpark for 12 years straight or whatever it is, and the Mrs rave about it.
Honestly, it was a great waterpark, but nothing blew you away, all the rides were just 'pretty good' and a couple that were 'great' nothing made me walk round and think yeah this is the best water park ever, but it was fun, i think volcano bay isn't too far away from this. I think what helps it is other waterparks have some rides which are stinkers, whereas Siam Park didn't have any of them they were all good. However, your staff are all miserable ******, the attitude on some of them was unreal, no need for the way they speak to you sometimes.
Wave machine was a cool area, and the waves were a decent size, but you literally get 1 wave every 2 minutes, which kinda kills it.
Had a burger there which wasn't too bad and drink selection good.
Queue's weren't too bad, I'd say the longest we waited for anything was 20 minutes, on most of them within 5-10 mins, we went on a Sunday.

Worst experience (father with 4years old daughter) ever . Unfortunately i need to put a star to have the review valid otherwise i would have put 0/5.I purchased the tickets and two fastpasses and obviously there was no blocker or alert that if my daughter’s height is less than 110cm there is no point of buying fast passes. I discovered when i arrived that my fastpasses could not be used byy daughter because of the height and then this means that we cannot do the parc and the attractions together. After almost 30 minutes between the VIP services and the information kiosk, i was given an email as no one physically could take any decision locally. I requested the refund of the fast passes as the personal suggested only to receive an email 24 hours later that my request cannot be considered and the park is really sorry. I do not say that this is not partially my mistake as i almost never read the small letters somewhere on the website but this firm (Siam Park) lacks any human consideration , has a bad management handling client requests and lies to you so that you can leave and they do not want to face you and inform you about their “consideration” . I will keep explaining all the friends that may consider visiting to try to convince them not to go. I believe in the fairness and when i see such a behavior and consideration, my duty is to run away and explain to others why they need to do the same

Park has a very poor layout, easy to get lost and not find your bearings.
Feels like a money grab if you’re not prepared to queue in the normal line and want to upgrade to a fast track. Standard fast track allows you to fast track once on each slide. And if you want an unlimited fast track it’s even more money.
I have been to Florida water parks, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon and Volcano Bay… all are far superior than Siam Park. Even Lands Of Legends in Turkey is better.

In regards to the layout, we would like to explain that every detail of our park is carefully designed to offer a unique and immersive experience. The layout of our attractions and pathways is intended to transport visitors into a setting inspired by the jungles and Thai environments of the ancient Kingdom of Siam. Because of this, many of our guests choose to spend more than one day exploring all the different areas and hidden corners of the park.
Regarding Fast Pass, this service is indeed available for those who wish to minimise waiting times. It is offered as an optional extra to enhance the experience. Please also note that during low season, waiting times are generally shorter even without Fast Pass.

Far too busy and too much queuing. The lazy river was too congested we had to bail half way through. Atlantis water park in Bahamas and Dubai is so much better.

- el personal tiene que llevar tatuajes y piercing tapados, increíble en el siglo XXI,
- la masificación no está bien gestionada en los toboganes

Recommend to get swimming socks/shoes as there is a lot to walk and on hot days your feet will go on fire 😅!

We visited Siam Park on Easter Sunday, arriving at 9:00am and staying until closing (5pm, winter hours).
Parking (€7) was easy and well organised right outside the park. It was about 20°C—pleasant rather than very hot—and the park felt relatively quiet. That likely helped our experience, so it’s worth bearing in mind that peak summer days may be much busier.
Queue times were excellent. We didn’t buy fast passes, and the longest wait for a major ride was around 15 minutes, with most queues under 10. That’s far better than what we typically experience at smaller UK water parks.
The park itself really stands out. It’s clean, beautifully designed, and clearly very well run. The rides are the highlight—they’re genuinely impressive and feel levels above the standard water park offering. There’s a reason this place is so highly rated.
We visited with our two children (8 and 5), and it worked brilliantly for both. Our son loved the bigger rides and pushed himself more than he normally would, while our daughter was perfectly happy in the lazy river, wave beach, and the kids’ areas (Lost City in particular). Both were happily occupied all day, which says a lot.
Food was better than expected—good quality, reasonably priced, and no sense of being overcharged. Even the ice cream was better than expected. Small thing, but it adds to the overall impression.
The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with just enough energy to make it feel fun without being overwhelming.
Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip. It’s not a cheap day out, but it does feel like good value for what you get. We left tired, happy, and feeling like we’d had a genuinely memorable day that we'll speak about as a family.
Tip: If you’re visiting in peak season or hotter weather, expect longer queues and consider fast passes—but if you catch it on a quieter day, it’s hard to beat.

Fuimos a pasar el dia, una familia con dos hijos de 12 y 15. La verdad teníamos miedo de que hubiese mucha cola, pero no tuvimos mas de 15 mins. Los toboganes 10/10, unos mecanismos muy avanzados, incluso que para no tener que cargar tu mismo con los flotadores. En cuanto a limpieza muy bien, baños en perfecto estado y el parque en optimas condiciones. Calidad/precio muy bien y se agradece que no te cobren por las hamacas. Un saludo al tan amable trabajador que estaba en el Mai Thai River.

Incredible fun in a beautifully kept water park with the most AMAZING rides! We bit the bullet and bought fast passes- SO glad we did! We never queued for more than 10 minutes all day, even though the park was crowded. I recommend Saifa, Volcano, Dragon and Kinaree. Altogether, an awesome day making some great memories in a fantastic place!

We have visited at least 6 times in the past so know it well, this time we went on good friday, arrived at 9.30 and first time we didnt have to queue to get in, walked straight in, went to dragon lockers and got our fast passes as normally they are essential. However we walked on every single ride before lunchtime without having to use the fast pass, some of them a couple of times too as we were a group of 3 so had to take turns on Singa and Saifa. After lunch we went on all of them again, had lunch for 3 with a beer each for 20 euro and the wave pool before we left! We were worried about it being really busy but was probably the quietest we've ever been! Highly recommend, would always get the fast pass just in case, however we didnt really need it this time, just allowed us to go on everything a second time without queuing.

Weight restrictions on rides are different than what is on website 130kg, I’m 120kg but when I got to the top to go down I was told no, I felt embarrassed and mortified I had to walk all way back down and I made me hesitant to go on any more slides so I stayed at the beach area and went on the lazy river. It was a waste of time and money for me I won’t be going again.
The lazy river should be re-named workout river, you have to use your arms in the water to move anywhere the current isn’t strong enough to move you anywhere, when you get to the rapid area I personally didn’t find it safe, I nearly tipped out backwards and whacked my legs on the sides when going down, wasn’t fun.

The queues were not too bad 10/15 mins max to get on any of the rides. Their fastrack is stamped so limited amount of times to use for each ride but I do not know what the limit is but you would literally go straight on the rides with it. Lots of choices ride wise and a literal beach with waves every 40 minutes. Plenty of varied eateries make this place a must visit even for us oldies !!

We didn't get that much out of Siam, as we were travelling with a 5-year old and a baby, but the facilities are outstanding with great attractions for everyone. Our oldest daughter also had a great time, and the food is good for a theme park and not outrageously priced.

Parc visité en février, il y avait du monde mais nous n’avons jamais attendu plus d’une heure pour un toboggan. Les toboggans sont très sympas, petit bémol pour la piscine à vagues qui est plus une piscine lambda qu’une piscine à vagues. Si vous le visitez en février, attention tout de même au coup de froid car le vent se fait bien sentir à certains endroits. Les décors de ce parc sont toutefois impressionnants, aucun toboggan n’est visible de l’extérieur.

This place is superb. Visited Jan 15th and had a great day. Went first thing and the park was dead, so went round everything without as much as a 30 second queue. Second time round I think the longest we waited was 5 minutes as the park got a bit busier. Food and drink was good, and not massively over priced like I’ve seen at other attractions.

I can't praise this place enough. So clean. So well run. Amazing range of brilliant water rides in a stunning lush theme park layout. Best rides ever! Friendly fully engaged staff keen to help and very committed to customer safety. Very well staffed. We loved every single minute. Food options reasonably priced by theme park standards. Only complaint would be not many ice cream stands and i didn't see many water fountains.
We went new year's eve, hardly any queues. Top tips:
When you enter head for the central area for your locker. Makes like easier later.
We struggled to find the changing rooms - they are located central. Signage overall could be improved especially at the entrance. Study map carefully before.
Grab a space at the beach on far right of park as the many loungers do fill up. The wave machine there is terrific. This 'beach' is so idyllic its really better than any of the natural beaches in Tenerife! Honestly if i was going again id buy a yearly pass and beach here instead of the real thing!
You can wear crocs or water shoes on the slides. You'll want to as there is a LOT of walking about to do. Be warned you'll rack up a lot of steps. It's more like a theme park than a pool based water park.
You will be walking around all day in just your swimsuit. So make sure you wear something you feel comfortable in. A rash vest a good idea to stop sunburn.
Bring a waterproof bum bag or plastic case for phone or bankcard. Otherwise you won't be able to buy anything. You can't bring a towel or bag round with you it's not v practical. If you have a smartwatch adding a payment card to that would be a smart option.
A lot of the rides need four people. They will fill them up and if you're a three you'll need to wait for a spare. If you're a single rider you're going to fly though the queue as they'll look for '1's to fill up the spaces.
The free shuttle bus is great. You don't need to pay for it. We caught it outside hotel best Tenerife.
125cm is the magic height for access to best rides. There is loads of stuff for smaller kids but my son at 7 felt too old for that so relieved he was just over 125! They are strict on safety. On plus side it feels v safe and there are always sufficient staff at bottom of rides helping you out of water. I didn't see any trouble for a weak swimmer as water always shallow.
It really is worth every penny. You will need all day. Enjoy!!!

I lettini sono vicinissimi l’uno con l’altro, non si riesce nemmeno a passare da quanto sono attaccati.
Abbiamo consumato il pranzo al self service , ma dello Smash Burger tanto pubblicizzato nemmeno l’ombra , dopo 20 minuti di attesa abbiamo dovuto ripiegare su altro.
La materia prima non é comunque di buona qualità e piuttosto insapore.
Nel pomeriggio abbiamo fatto merenda e ho ordinato una fetta di torta di mele che sarebbe dovuta essere calda,
Ma era fredda di frigorifero.
Insomma siamo rimasti delusi, sia per per il servizio che per la qualità . Per un parco che si vanta di essere il primo al mondo per recensioni, mi aspetto molto di più !

This us our second visit all I can say is amazing, I've been to florida and this park is right up there was the florida ones, yes was busy and yes we queued a few times but the kids seemed to go on loads of slides ect and were not standing round long, eating in restaurants is hetic I normally take sandwiches and just get fries and drinks to go with them save some cash but we were only on a short break so dident bring my liitle cool bag, that's my only gripe like I said eating is not great at busy times, alos make sure you plan getting home struggled I wish booked tickets with transport as taxi que massive and got stranded again!! Ended walking which was not good overall amazing park
